WVU to dedicate new greenhouse
Advertiser

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- A greenhouse will be a part of West Virginia University's Evansdale campus.

A dedication ceremony for the greenhouse is set for today in Morgantown. It will replace a greenhouse that was built in the early 1960s.

This project is a collaboration between WVU's Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, and the U.S. Forest Service.

The greenhouse is the first completed facility in a $159.5 million makeover plan for the Evansdale campus. A student health facility and a new home for the College of Physical Activity and Sport Sciences will be built next to new recreation fields, and construction of the Advanced Engineering Research Building is scheduled to begin in October.
