Putnam County Parks and Recreation Commission: will offer Zumba classes from 7 to 8 p.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and at 11 a.m. on Saturdays in the Commons located at Valley (Wave Pool) Park. The cost is $5. For information, call 304-562-0518, ext. 10.
Mobile Office of Sen. Jay Rockefeller: will stop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28 at the Mingo County Courthouse, Williamson. Phil Lewis, a member of Rockefeller's staff, will assist the public with any questions or concerns they may have.
Mobile Office of Rep. Shelley Moore Capito: will have a staff member available to assist residents with problems they are having with a federal government agency at several locations. In addition, residents can send a message to Capito. The dates are Tuesday, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., Wirt County Senior Center, Elizabeth; Thursday, Sept 27 Braxton County Senior Center, Sutton; and Sept. 28, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m., City of Mason Senior Center, Mason. All events are from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Elk Valley Public Service District Commissioners Board: will meet at 2 p.m. Tuesday at 100 Bream Drive, Elkview.
