BECKLEY, W.Va. -- A man suspected of robbing a Virginia bank has been arrested in West Virginia.
The U.S. Marshals Service says 23-year-old Richard Henry Ames of Roanoke, Va., was arrested Thursday. He was a suspect in the heist of a Suntrust Bank in Roanoke.
U.S. Marshals spokesman Christopher Lair tells The Register-Herald of Beckley that Ames was found on an access road to a strip mine.
Ames also was wanted for a probation violation in Chesapeake.
