CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency will open disaster recovery centers Tuesday in Fayette, Kanawha, Nicholas and Raleigh counties.
The center in Kanawha County is at the South Charleston Community Center, 601 Jefferson Road; in Nicholas County at the National Guard Armory, 3 Armory Way, Summersville; in Fayette County at the Glen Jean Armory, 409 Wood Mountain Road, Glen Jean; and in Raleigh County at 200 Armory Road, Beckley.
The centers will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Specialists from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be on hand to provide information.
Before going to a disaster recovery center, people with storm losses should register with FEMA. Registration is available online at www.disasterassistance.gov or by phone at 800-621-FEMA (3362). Lines are open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. seven days a week.
