Charleston Surgical Hospital offers free flu shots

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston Surgical Hospital, formerly the Eye & Ear Clinic, will offer free flu shots to the general public between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. Sept. 29.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommends that all people ages 6 months and older be vaccinated annually, especially the young and elderly, according to the hospital.

Free parking at Charleston Surgical can be found off Virginia Street.
