Taylor Freeland of George Washington High School was crowned Miss Kanawha Majorette 2012 at the 66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Band & Majorette Festival Tuesday night.

The Capital High School band plays during the 66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival Tuesday on Laidley Field in Charleston. For the ninth year in a row, Capital High School was named the grand champions of the festival.
