CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Mason County man faces up to six years in prison for illegally dumping sewage.
Sixty-one-year-old Francis Zuspan pleaded guilty Monday to dumping a pollutant into waters without a permit.
U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin says Zuspan admitted dumping untreated sewage onto a property in Mason County between November 2010 and February 2011. He also admitted dumping sewage into a lake and stream watershed that's connected to the Ohio River.
Zuspan is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 14, 2013. He also faces a $250,000 fine.
