HUNTINGTON, W.Va. -- Marshall University is partnering with a recruiting firm to boost its international student enrollment.

The Herald-Dispatch says Marshall's Board of Governors approved a contract on Friday with INTO University Partners.

Under the 30-year agreement, the for-profit INTO will be housed as a subsidiary through the Marshall University Foundation. The foundation's board is expected to approve the contract this week.

Marshall President Stephen Kopp told the Board of Governors that the recruitment program can establish Marshall as an international university and help make Huntington and surrounding areas attractive to international businesses.
