WHEELING, W.Va. -- Is it possible for a capitalist entrepreneur to also be virtuous? Author and professor Stephen Hicks will share his thoughts on the subject at Wheeling Jesuit University.

Hicks is speaking Wednesday as part of a fall series sponsored by the school's Institute for the Study of Capitalism and Morality. The speech is at 7 p.m. at the National Technology Transfer Center auditorium.

Center director Ed Younkins says the moral aspects of entrepreneurship have had little attention.

Hicks will talk about entrepreneurial ethics, arguing that they should be fundamental and foundational to business ethics.

Hicks directs the Center for Ethics and Entrepreneurship at Rockford College in Illinois.
