WHEELING, W.Va. -- A Pennsylvania chiropractor who operated two clinics in West Virginia faces up to 15 years in prison for health-care fraud and tax evasion.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 62-year-old Joseph J. Yurigan of New Alexandria, Pa., also must pay more than $836,000 in restitution. A minimum of about $501,600 must be paid before he is sentenced.

Ihlenfeld's office says Yurigan submitted a fraudulent claim to a health-care program and evaded taxes for 2008.

Yurigan operated the Weirton Chiropractic Clinic and the Wheeling Spine Center.

He entered his pleas Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Wheeling.
