West Liberty launching new fundraising program
WEST LIBERTY, W.Va. -- West Liberty University is unveiling plans for its largest fundraising campaign ever.
President emeritus Clyde Campbell will chair the effort. Details are being announced this afternoon.
The West Liberty University Foundation is the school's fund-raising arm and will share the work. The foundation has 30 new members led by newly elected chairman Les DeFelice.
West Liberty has about 2,700 students, and a faculty and staff of 433. The announcement coincides with homecoming.
The school has been in a silent phase of fundraising for several years.
