FAIRMONT, W.Va. -- A new Armed Forces Reserve Center in Fairmont is being dedicated this week.

The $25 million armory is expected to open in December or early 2013. It will be named in honor of West Virginia's last surviving Medal of Honor recipient, Hershel Woodrow "Woody'' Williams.

Media outlets say the West Virginia National Guard and the Army Reserve will dedicate the armory Thursday.
