CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia agriculture officials are hosting a delegation from China.

The visit Monday and today by a delegation of major Chinese landscaping and plant nursery companies is intended to promote a $23.3 million state industry that includes greenhouses, the sod producers and nurseries.

The West Virginia Department of Agriculture is teaming up with the state's Nursery and Landscape Association to host the delegation. A reception was held Monday night in Charleston following a tour of a nursery operation in Mason County.

The delegation is heading to Greenbrier County today.
