Water advisories lifted for Salt Rock, Newhall

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for about 300 customers in the Salt Rock area. The advisory was issued for Raccoon Creek, Beech Fork Road, Bowen Creek Road, Brinnager Road, Fire Tower Road, Nicely Road, Grassy Lick Road and Goodman Branch Road and part of Lavalette Public Service District following a water main break.

McDowell County Public Service District has lifted the boil-water advisory issued Oct. 11 for the Newhall area.
