St. Albans man gets 15 years for incest
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A St. Albans man will spend up to 15 years in prison for having sexual contact with a family member more than a decade ago.
Dean Jackson Kinder, 53, pleaded guilty earlier this year to one count of incest. Kanawha Circuit Judge Paul Zakaib Jr. sentenced him Wednesday to 5 to 15 years in prison on the charge.
Kinder engaged in oral sex with a young female family member while they were living in Belle in 2000, assistant Kanawha County prosecutor Jennifer Meadows said. The family member, who now lives out of state, reported the incident to police, Meadows said.
Kinder will spend an additional 50 years on supervised release once he gets out of prison, Meadows said.
