CLEAR CREEK, W.Va. -- Police said a man died after being thrown from a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in Raleigh County.

Raleigh County sheriff's deputies said they came upon the accident at about 2 p.m. along Clear Ford Road in Clear Creek.

The driver, Olen J. Williams, 33, of Clear Creek, was injured and his passenger was thrown from the vehicle. The passenger was pronounced dead at the scene and has not been identified, pending notification of family.
