Winter storm watch issued for 3 W.Va. counties

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm watch for three West Virginia counties as Hurricane Sandy heads for the Atlantic Coast.

The hurricane is expected to clash with a winter system, dumping up to 2 feet of snow in the mountains of eastern West Virginia. The winter storm watch is in effect from Sunday night to Tuesday morning in Pocahontas, Randolph and Webster counties.
