CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Women who own small businesses are being invited to share their thoughts on the economy and the nation's regulatory climate at a meeting in Charleston.

Congresswoman Shelley Moore Capito is conducting the event today at the Embassy Suites in Charleston.

Capito says more than 7 million firms in the country are owned by women. She wants to know what the federal government can do to help their businesses grow.
