FUTURE EVENTS

St. Mary's Medical Center's: Total Woman Girls' Night Out event, originally scheduled for today<co Thursday>, has been rescheduled to 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Nov. 30. For more information, call Lisa Hastings at 304-526-1271 or email her at Lisa.Hastings@st-marys.org.

Marshall University: will have its 49th Annual International Festival from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena downtown. The festival is organized by Marshall students and the International Office. Authentic food, student cultural performances, music, dancing and international booths will be featured. International restaurants from the Tri-State area will join the event, featuring sample-size portions of their cuisine for those at the festival. Admission is free, however, food tickets will be available for purchase. More than 400 international students and members of the Tri-State community representing 60 countries will set up displays about their native cultures, dress and music.

Kanawha County Public Library: will feature Bright Star Theatre Presents: "Romeo and Juliet" at area libraries. This production condenses Shakespeare's original text into an accessible and inventive production. The two star-crossed lovers, the nurse, Mercutio, Benvolio, the Prince and the warring families take this vibrant work of literature off the page and onto the stage. The program is for adults and teens. Participating libraries will be the Main Library: 6 p.m., Tuesday; Riverside Public Library: 10 a.m., Wednesday; and Cross Lanes Branch Library: 2 p.m. on Wednesday.

West Virginia Indoor Clean Air Program: will sponsor a Fishing Rodeo from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 10, 11 and 12 at Cato Park Swimming Pool, 200 Baker Lane. Fishing for Youth will be held Nov. 10 for ages 15 and under only. There is no charge. Nov. 11 and 12, fishing for youth is free and adults 16 years and older is $10 per day. The swimming pool has been stocked with 300 pounds of trout and the average size is about 1 1/2 pounds each. Those catching tagged fish will receive a prize. This is a Tobacco Free Event.

Alcoholics Anonymous: holds meetings and support for those who wish to stop drinking. For information, call 1-800-333-5051.
