CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Safety concerns over a cracked windshield prompted the crew of a US Airways flight from Philadelphia to Cincinnati to make an emergency landing at Charleston's Yeager Airport on Tuesday afternoon.

Airport spokesman Brian Belcher said the Canadair regional jet carrying 50 passengers landed without incident at about 3 p.m.

The passengers were transferred to Yeager's terminal, where they were awaiting word on how they would proceed to Cincinnati.
