Indiana fugitive captured in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police arrested a man wanted for dealing cocaine in Indiana last week.

Charleston Police Cpl. S.M. Napier was tipped that Anthony Santura Smith, 31, had been staying at house in the 5300 block of MacCorkle Avenue in South Charleston.

Smith was wanted for Sept. 9 warrants for dealing cocaine and possession of cocaine charges out of Marion County, Indiana.

According to the National Crime Information Center database, Smith is a member of the Bloods gang in Indianapolis and is known to have violent tendencies.

Smith was arrested Nov. 1 and is being held in South Central Regional Jail awaiting an extradition hearing back to Indiana.
