High school choirs sing Saturday in Charleston

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Fifteen high school choirs from across West Virginia will perform this weekend at the Culture Center.

The First Lady's Festival of Songs will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Each choir will give a 15-minute performance. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating choirs are from Buffalo, Cabell Midland, Capital, Elkins, Fairmont Senior, Hampshire, Hurricane, Mingo Central, Nicholas County, Nitro, Philip Barbour, Riverside, Roane County, Winfield and Woodrow Wilson high schools.
