CHARLESTON,W.Va. -- Again I say 51 percent is in no way a mandate. What it truly shows is the deep divide in this country that will never again be fixed. We currently have the most divisive occupant of the White House that has ever been and he learned nothing from his first term. I just intend to survive the next four years and hope that we get someone in office that can make an honest effort to be a uniter unlike this guy.

It was nice to see the repudiation of Limbaugh, Rove, Trump, Hannity, McConnell and the rest of their lunatic gang. The only thing nicer would be to add Maddow, Schultz, Andrea Mitchell, Harry Reid, and their like. Their day will also come. These crazy partisans on both sides are destroying this country.

When rich Republicans can afford to toss a trillion dollars on the election, it tells me they can afford to pay a little more tax.

After saying he would work with President Obama, Republican John Boehner said he won't approve any tax plan that makes the rich pay more tax. He's still determined to push our country over the "fiscal cliff."

I will never forgive the Republican Party for giving us George W. Bush. The eight years of George W. Bush is what doomed this country.

We hear so much about children bullying other children, but what about the teachers that bully students? I have children at Riverside and Dupont Middle and almost daily I hear about rude comments that the teachers make to them or other students. These teachers need some bullying training themselves.

What is the point of changing the tax code again if everyone ends up paying the same as they are now? Anyone who thinks this gang in Washington is capable of writing a simple and fair tax code that collects the right amount of revenue for all the government we have is hallucinating.

You put your choice in the House by voting the do-nothing-for-West-Virginia Capito. Now see how you do when your unemployment runs out, your school needs built, your taxes go up because she gives millionaires a big cut.

The composition of the Congress has not fundamentally changed since the re-election of President Obama. The Republican-controlled House will continue to block his plans. Nothing has changed.

Hoppy and John still running ads on his station. Give it a break, John, and go back home and hang out on the beach. There will be lots more elections.

Now that Earl Ray got re-elected, he needs to do something about all the state employees that sit in their office and in their vehicles with snuff or chewing tobacco in their mouth. The public's tired of ... helping them pay for their insurance and plus, whenever you have to go into a state office such as the Fire Marshal's office to get plans or anything reviewed, here's all these people with snuff in their mouth and you smell their spit. Now do something about it, Earl Ray. Show some spine.

Christmas is coming, and the bell ringers are out ringing the bells to collect money and they're wanting money for toys, wanting money for this, wanting money for the poor. Well I hate to tell people, but the seniors are doing well to take care of themselves and there's a lot of other people like that also, so I don't know what to tell the bell ringers. They make $10 and something an hour. I don't.

Yes, Mitt Romney says he's for America then why is all of his money in foreign bank accounts? Seems to me like his actions speaks louder than his mouth.

Stonewall Jackson Middle School was the topic in an article this week about being cold with no heat on Election Day. Students and teachers haven't had heat for days and days. They wear coats, scarves and gloves. If the heat can be corrected on Election Day it definitely needs to be made better for school days. Let's look out for our teachers and children.

Why don't you print more articles on how Obama got to be president? Integration gave us Obama. Otherwise, he would have never made it. And what do you think immigration is going to do when the Hispanics take over in 2035? Think about it. Report on it.
