CHAPMANVILLE, W.Va. -- A Logan County man has been charged after his wife died of injuries sustained in a fight between the two, State Police say.
Gary Terry, 36, is charged in the death of Caren Blankenship, 39. The two, both of Chapmanville, were at the Roadway Inn in Chapmanville when the altercation occurred early Sunday morning, according to a dispatcher with the West Virginia State Police.
Blankenship was taken to Charleston Area Medical Center, where she died Sunday evening of a severe head injury, according to the dispatcher.
Terry is currently at the South Central Regional Jail.
