FUTURE EVENTS

Unity of Kanawha Valley: will be home to the "Bad to the Bone" Karaoke Night at 7 p.m. on Friday at 804 Myrtle Road, corner of Bridge and Myrtle roads. Various coffees, teas, soft drinks and homemade treats are available at a small donation cost. Singing and dancing will be featured. General admission is $2. Unity's Karaoke Night takes place on the third Friday of each month.

The Torchbearer Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority: will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at the home of Lynda Harper, who will present the program with the aid of Luanna Jones.

Retired United Steelworkers, SOAR group: will have its regular meeting at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the local union hall, located below Ravenswood. Food will be potluck. All retirees and spouses are welcome. Call Arol Squires at 304-273-2877 or Larry Lacorte at 304-273-3158.

Handlan Chapter of the Brooks Bird Club: will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at South Charleston Public Library. Member Pat Barker will discuss her travels to Panama, including birding. Anyone interested in birding is welcome. The board will meet at 6 p.m.
