CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A lot of people need to quit their whining and realize we live in the greatest country ever put on this earth. We should count our blessings and stop being so negative.
Obama caved to the Republicans on the tax issue two years ago. Look for him to do the same again.
It looks like the family court judge in Florida was the only rational person in the sex scandal as the details emerge. He saw past the lies and drama of two twin seductresses. He also ignored the attempts to influence him by powerful men under their spell and just did the right thing. It does happen once in a while.
When President Bush lit a victory cigar after only a few months in Iraq, it was followed by years of intense guerrilla fighting. Last week's post-election celebrations made me realize the same thing is about to unfold here.
The Bush era tax cuts for the rich were supposed to create jobs. That didn't happen. Americans lost jobs in record numbers while the rich became richer using overseas cheap labor. It is time to let the tax cuts for the rich expire.
Romney is blaming the "gifts" President Obama gave certain groups. I guess promising tax cuts to the richest of Americans just didn't measure up. There are fewer of them than the rest of us.
We are tired of John McCain's sour grapes statements on TV. He is a whining loser. He makes himself look more foolish every time he opens his mouth. McConnell and McCain are both good examples of why we need term limits to prevent career politicians who are out of touch with the people and who look foolish with their partisan/personal attacking agenda.
Romney says Obama won because of "gifts" to blacks, Latinos and the poor. Baloney. Obama won because rational people did not buy the lies he was selling.
Instead of repeating their party's catchphrases, the "tax the rich" crowd needs to take some time and crunch the numbers. If you taxed the rich 100 percent and took all their money it would only run the government a few days. Government has to reduce spending and the Democrats refuse to even consider that option.
What happened to the man arrested in Denver who fled after stabbing his wife here in the Kanawha Valley two years ago? Did he just get away with it or what?
Today is Nov. 14, 2012. The East Coast is destroyed, massive storms continue to devastate our world, earthquakes, starvation, and the world is on the brink of financial ruin. Add in crime, drug use, and fear. So what is everybody's biggest concern? Some dumb Army guy having an affair like it hasn't been going on for years. Pitiful. Plum pitiful.
The best possible choice to replace Hillary Clinton for Secretary of State would be Dennis Kucinich.
Senator John McCain has shown himself to be the "Manchurian candidate" we can only thank God that he never became president.
The stock market is down 1,000 points since the election. How 's that Obama economic plan working out for you? It's only going to get worse because Obama knows less than nothing about how to grow an economy.
To the reader who commented about President Obama doing nothing for the thousands who are still homeless and suffering after "Sandy." Where do you think all that federal aid is coming from? What do you want a man to do -- climb a pole and reconnect power lines? By the way, I am not a 'kool-aid' drinker, but you sure sound like one.
John McCain and Lindsey Graham vowed to oppose Susan Rice if she is nominated to be Secretary of State due to her inaccurate testimony about the Benghazi affair. Just to show the hypocrisy of these two, consider that they voted for Condoleezza Rice after she lied about the Iraq war in which over 4,000 Americans died and we spent over $1 trillion dollars. Washington is so badly broken that it can never be fixed.
People, don't you think it is time to stop pointing a finger and start lending a helping hand?
I bet Jill Kelley is sorry she ever complained about getting any negative emails.
The owner of Papa John's pizza is a fool. There are plenty of good pizza chains. I personally will never buy a Papa John's pizza.
We have Ouija board readers, crystal ball right-wing nut jobs that keep putting premonition fantasized vents in the paper every day. Fox News frantic watchers believe these things, as do survivalist cave dwellers. Our mental institutions have failed us and do we really need marijuana legalized? Just lower the penalty. This insanity all starts in the Congress GOP.
There is no better example of Congress' inability to 'fix' anything than the U.S. Postal Service.
The reason for firing Dr. Jorea Marple is obvious after reviewing the members of the board and the criteria for membership. It is another blow to our state perpetrated by narrow-minded 'yes' people who follow a dictator instead of a leader.
