Man killed in Sissonville Drive crash

SISSONVILLE, W.Va. -- A man died in a traffic accident in Sissonville on Tuesday afternoon, a Kanawha County Metro 911 dispatcher said.

John Potter, 54, of Charleston, was killed in the wreck, a State Police dispatcher said.

Police responded to the accident at Sissonville Drive and Guthrie Road around 12:40 p.m., the dispatcher said. Two vehicles were involved, one of which drove into an embankment, the dispatcher said.

The road was closed for more than two hours.
