CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Kanawha County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman who they said helped herself to cash from her employer's safe Tuesday night.

Sandra Ferrell, 39, of Clendenin, an employee of Letha's II game room at 1270 Greenbrier St., is charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor, Deputy R.L. Lester said.

Ferrell stole around $400 from Lethas's II game room, he said. Deputies apprehended her after a fellow employee allegedly caught her in the act and called 911.

Ferrell was to be arraigned Tuesday night in Kanawha County Magistrate Court.
