FUTURE EVENTS:

Ronceverte Public Library: will have its second annual fundraising event featuring a Greenbrier Valley Dinner Sampler at 3, 5 and 7 p.m. Nov. 27 at the Edgarton Inn B&B with Chef Reed VanDenBerghe. The cost is $30 per person. For tickets, call 304-647-7400 or stop by the library at 712 West Main St., Ronceverte. Each session allows 33 people to participate. Kanawha Trail Club: will sponsor a new hike in the Wallback Wilderness Management Association on Dec. 2. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at lake parking lot. The hike is about 5 miles on a moderate trail. A shorter version is available: 1 mile around the lake.

Putnam County Parks: will sponsor a wreath-making class at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in the Valley Park Community Center. The fee is $20. To sign-up for the class, call 304-562-0518, ext. 10.

MountainHeart Child Care Resource and Referral Services: will conduct a professional development session from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Dec. 3 titled, "How Prepared Are You? Emergency Preparedness and You" at the Fayette County Department of Health and Human Resources, Oak Hill. The class is for family day care providers, facility providers and day care center staff.
