The children have outgrown much of their clothing and shoes and the mother is unable to provide new clothing since she is focused on paying utilities and rent. Her only concern is the well-being of her children, according to Foley.

Monetary donations to help provide assistance for these two Children's Home Society families may be made out to the Gazette Charities Christmas Fund, 1001 Virginia St., E., Charleston, WV 25301.

When you make a donation to the Gazette Charities Christmas Fund, every penny goes to the agencies and people who need help.

The Gazette covers the administrative costs of the fund. All donations to Gazette Charities are tax-deductible.
