ALUM BRIDGE, W.Va. -- A state fire investigator says a woman and two children found dead after a Lewis County barn fire had been shot.
Deputy State Fire Marshal Reed Cook tells media outlets that autopsies done by the state medical examiner's office concluded that all three victims died from gunshot wounds.
The bodies of 32-year-old Beth Kraus and her children, 5-year-old Kaden Kraus and 3-year-old Kiera Kraus, were found Nov. 12 in the burned-out barn near Alum Bridge.
Doug Kraus told police he discovered the bodies of his wife and children after working a night shift.
Reed says the fire is suspicious. The barn didn't have any utilities.
No arrests have been made.
