MARTINSBURG, W.Va. -- Berkeley County officials plan to honor the working women of World War II with a monument.

The Rosie the Riveter monument will be located at War Memorial Park.

The Journal reports that West Virginia Rosie the Riveter Project founder Ann Montague proposed the monument to the county Parks and Recreation board in July.

Materials and construction costs will be paid with donations.
