GLEN EASTON, W.Va. -- Another slip has occurred at a gas well pad in Marshall County that Chesapeake Energy has been stabilizing so it can resume operations.

Last year, state regulators declared the Ray Baker pad near Glen Easton an imminent danger to people due to erosion control and other violations.

Chesapeake spokeswoman Jacque Bland tells The Intelligencer and Wheeling News-Register that another small slip occurred at the site recently. She says there's no threat to people or the environment.

Once the site is stabilized, the company will have to apply for new drilling permits to resume operations.
