Exhibit showcases W.Va. military service
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia's history of military service is the focus of the Division of Culture and History's fourth annual showcase.
The showcase will be on display at the Culture Center in Charleston on Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The showcase includes military documents, diaries, posters, photographs, manuscripts, National Guard materials and items from the USS West Virginia.
Director of archives and history Joe Geiger says the annual showcase is an opportunity to share materials from the division's collections with its patrons and supporters.
