CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Three medical centers in West Virginia are receiving federal grants to provide and improve preventive care.

The Office of Federal Assistance Management awarded $374,844 to Camden-On-Gauley Medical Center, $263,187 to Rainelle Medical Center and $278,560 to St. George Medical Clinic.

U.S. Senators Jay Rockefeller and Joe Manchin, and Rep. Nick Rahall announced the grants.

The lawmakers say the grants will help the medical centers provide preventive care to residents in rural areas.
