St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and School, 1023 Sixth Ave., St. Albans, will sponsor a Breakfast with Santa from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the school. The pancake breakfast is $5 for adults and $2 for children. Photos with Santa are available for $7. Donations will be accepted for the following organizations: Toys for Tots, Parish Christmas baskets (food), coats and warm clothes, Red Cross Hurricane Sandy Relief (cash). Participants can also make a Christmas card for our soldiers. Proceeds from the breakfast will support the St. Francis fifth grade trip.

Nitro Convention and Visitors Bureau will sponsor several activities Saturday at Nitro High School. The cost is $4 for adults, $2 for children age 1 to 18 and free for children younger than 1. The fee includes entry and lunch. A Lunch with Santa will be held from noon to 2 p.m.; Christmas carnival and pictures with Santa from noon to 3 p.m.; a craft fair from noon to 3 p.m.; and a Christmas parade at 4 p.m. Lineup for the parade begins at 3:15 p.m. on Pickens Road.
