Gasoline prices drop 3.6 cents in W.Va.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- On average, West Virginia motorists are paying a few cents less for gasoline than they did a week ago.

AAA East Central said Tuesday that the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded gasoline is about $3.60. That's 3.6 cents per gallon less than on Nov. 27.

But gas prices are about 28 cents higher than a year ago.

Prices range from about $3.70 in Martinsburg to about $3.44 in Huntington.

Nationally, gas prices average about $3.38 this week.
