BLUEFIELD, W.Va. -- A Mercer County man has been sentenced to three years and one month in federal prison for illegally distributing prescription drugs.

Benjamin Jamalle Lane, 35, pleaded guilty to distributing oxycodone in August. Lane admitted that he sold oxycodone pills in February and March near Montcalm, according to a news release from U.S. Attorney Booth Goodwin's office. Lane said he distributed 480 30-milligram pills over four months, according to the release.
