West Virginia American Water issues/lifts boil-water advisories

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for about 275 customers along Paint Creek Road in Kanawha County. The advisory is in effect for all customers in the utility's Upper Kanawha Valley district, following a boil-water advisory from the Town of Pratt, which provides the water for this system.

 West Virginia American Water has lifted a boil-water advisory for about 500 customers in the Sissonville area. The advisory was issued Monday evening for customers on W.Va. 21 from Old Mill Road to Allens Fork Road, Old Mill Road, Sisson Terrace, Cicerone Star Route/Poca River Road (County Route 33), James Drive, Poca Flats, Rocky Shoals Road, Haditha Lane, Aarons Fork Road from the Sissonville side to Flowers Hollow Road, Second Creek Road, Haines Branch Road, and Allens Fork Road.
