Pearl Harbor ceremony set for Friday

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The John Brawley Post No. 20 of the American Legion will sponsor a National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day Ceremony at noon Friday at the intersection of Lee and Capitol streets.

Guest speaker will be Lt. Col. Tony Taylor, West Virginia State University professor of military science. Other speakers include past and present American Legion Post 20 commanders. The Rev. Dr. Randall Flanagan of Christ United Methodist Church will give the convocation. A wreath ceremony will be presented by Pearl Harbor survivors.
