CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Pittsburgh man convicted of stealing prescription drugs from a Fayette County pharmacy at gunpoint has been sentenced to eight years in federal prison.

Kevin Ian Davis was sentenced Thursday in federal court in Charleston. The 31-year-old Davis pleaded guilty in August to conspiracy to commit pharmacy robbery.

Christina Foster, of Montgomery, was sentenced last month to two years in prison. She admitted being the driver in the robbery of the New River Family Health Center Pharmacy, near Scarbro, in June 2008.

Court records show $3,000 worth of oxycodone and morphine pills were stolen.
