WMUL-FM and The V Club will present the second annual Cutting Edge Fest and Benefit for Huntington-Cabell-Wayne Animal Shelter and Little Victories, at the V Club, 741 Sixth Ave., Huntington, Dec. 8. Doors open at 7 p.m., and pet adoptions on the patio begin at 8:45 p.m. The show begins at 9:30 p.m. The show will feature Coyotes in Boxes, mycity., Blue Ring, Deadbeats and Barkers, and Jordan Andrew Jefferson.

Wells Home Furnishings and Mountain Mission will collect gently used coats for those in need this winter season. The coats will be distributed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dec. 11 at Mountain Mission's activities building, 1620 Seventh Ave. The coats range from infant to adult sizes.
