FUTURE EVENTS

The Region III Workforce Investment Board of Kanawha County will meet at 11 a.m. Dec. 17 in the conference room at Goodwill Industries of Kanawha Valley, 209 Virginia St. W. The agenda is available for review in the WIB office.

Kanawha County Emergency Ambulance Authority Board of Directors will have a special meeting Dec. 19 at Angela's on the River, located at 2 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans. Happy hour is from 5 to 6 p.m. Dinner will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Presentations for retirees and service awards will be presented at 7 p.m. A board meeting will be held at 8 p.m. Agendas and review materials will be provided prior to the meeting. Morgan's Kitchen Museum located along MacCorkle Avenue in St. Albans, will feature St. Nicholas from 6 to 8 p.m. Dec. 22. St. Nicholas will explain the history of Christmas and of Santa Claus. The museum is located near Walnut Street. Refreshments will be provided. Admission is free. Call 304-727-5972 for details.
