Teays Valley Fire Department: will sponsor a Santa Claus Run in several communities Dec. 13 through Dec. 19. The department will try to be in the areas listed below, however, if times run over and the fire department is not able to make it on the scheduled night, they will return to that community location on the following night.

Santa will be driven around on the ladder truck Big John. The times will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on weekdays and from 6 to 9 p.m. on weekends. Santa will be handing out candy canes to all the kids that come out to see him.

The projected schedule is:

Thursday: Teays Villa, Belle Acres, Devonshire and Rolling Meadows.

Friday: Rosehill Acres, Scott Acres, Scott Creek, Tyler Way and Moorefield

Saturday: Saddle Downs, Hidden Valley, Beechwood, Oakwood and Maplewood

Sunday: Hillsdale, Stonegate, White Pines, Glen Oaks and Candlewyck

Monday: Woods & Irons, Thistlewood, New London Commons, Gables of Teays and Carriage Way

Tuesday: Sleepy Hollow Township, Woodridge, Wedgewood Glen and Mill Creek Crossing
