LOOKOUT, W.Va. -- Two sisters got into a bloody argument Friday night, with one stabbing the other in the stomach, Fayette County Sheriff Steve Kessler said Saturday.

Kessler said Misty Dawn Dixon, 37, allegedly stabbed her 34-year-old sister Angel Orndorff "in the stomach with a knife she had in her purse."

He went on to say Dixon fled the area before police arrived, but later turned herself in. She was arraigned on charges of malicious wounding. A magistrate set her bond at $10,000.

Her sister was transported to Charleston Area Medical Center via air ambulance, and her condition was unknown at the time.

Kessler said Deputy Sheriff S. G. Milam of the Fayette County Sheriff's Department and the Detective Bureau are continuing to investigate this incident. Lookout is a small, unincorporated community not far from the New River Gorge Bridge.
