The Metropolitan Opera performance of Mozart's opera "La Clemenza Di Tito," will be shown from 12:55 to approximately 4:50 p.m. Dec. 19 at Cinemark Theater at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville. Tickets are $22 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $15 for children. For complimentary passes, call 304-344-9091.

Boone Memorial Hospital will sponsor a drive-through flu shot clinic from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dec. 20 at the front entrance of the hospital. The shots cost $20 each. Medicare and some Medicare replacement programs will be accepted. Food items will also be collected and will be donated to Madison Baptist Church and the Fountain of Life Worship Center. Those who bring in three or more nonperishable food items will receive a free scarf while supplies last.

Unity of Kanawha Valley will be home to Christmas Carol Karaoke at 7 p.m. Dec. 21 at Unity, Bridge Road at Myrtle Road. Various coffees, teas, soft drinks and homemade treats are available at a small donation cost. Music, singing and dancing will be featured. Refreshments are available. General admission is $2.

Hurricane High School's Red Hot show choir will have its annual dinner theater Jan. 4-6 at the school. A full-service meal will be served by the seven-time state champion show choir. While eating a meal of roast beef, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans, salad, homemade rolls, dessert and drink, guests will be entertained by special MCs as well as individual performances and prizes. Dinner theater times are 6:30 p.m. Jan. 4; 1 and 6:30 p.m. Jan. 5; and 1 p.m. Jan. 6. The price is $15 for adults and $10 for children 10 and younger. The Jan. 6 matinee at 1 p.m. offers discount pricing of $12 for adults and $7 for children. Doors open one hour prior to dinner and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis.
