Tomblin appoints 3 to WVSU Board of Governors

INSTITUTE, W.Va. -- Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin has made three appointments to the West Virginia State University Board of Governors.

John Thralls and Larry Salyers were reappointed to the board Thursday. Thralls is a former interim chancellor and vice chancellor of administration for the West Virginia Higher Education Policy Commission. He's now retired.

Salyers is a senior vice president with United Bank.

The governor also appointed Charleston attorney Paul Konstanty to the board.
