St. Timothy Lutheran Church,: 900 Lawndale Lane, off of Corridor G, will have a worship service with Holy Communion and a children's Christmas program at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. A Christmas Eve worship service with Holy Communion will be held at 4:30 p.m. Monday. A Candlelight Service with emphasis on families and children will be featured. Randy Gifford Promotions: presents the Fifth Annual 2012 "New" New Year's Eve Gospel Sing from 7 p.m. to midnight on Dec. 31 at Riverside High School. Admission is free. Call to worship is 6:30 p.m. Featured singers will be The Harbor Master's Quartet, The Lancaster Family, The Brighterside Quartet, the Praisemen, Brothers in the Cross and Ron Pauley, pianist. Jewel of a New Year's Eve Gospel Sing: will be held from 7 to midnight, New Year's Eve, Monday, at Flood of Faith, Sandyville, by the post office. Singers will be Living for Him from Sissonville; Tom Conhenour from Willow Hill, Pa.; and other singers.

King of Glory International Ministries,: 302 Delaware Ave, will have a New Year's Eve Service at 10 p.m. Monday at the church. Speaker will be Evangelist Janet Hairston, Heart of God Ministries of Beckley. Pastor is Tina M. Beatty.

Fisher Memorial Church: will have its New Year's Eve Service from 8 p.m. to midnight Dec. 31, The Rev. Delbert Hawley will speak around 9:30 p.m. The Choraliers, Jordan River Boys, Freeman Newhouse, Lathey Family, The New Life Singers, Saving Grace, Fisher Memorial Church Quartet and Choir will sing. A fellowship and refreshments hour will be held from 10 to 11 p.m. Participants will return to the Sanctuary for the remainder of the service at 11 p.m. Midnight fellowship and family prayer at the altar, along with the tolling of the church bells will be held. The church is located 1/2 mile on Dudden Road off Goldtown Exit of Interstate 77, 18 miles north of Charleston.

The Believers: will be singing at 7:30 p.m. at a service on New Year's Eve, Dec. 31, at Lone Oak Church of God Mission, located on W.Va. 34, Red House Hill.
