Since then, the five of them have been staying with family in Charleston. While they are happy to have a roof over their heads, there's not much room for all of them to sleep comfortably.

Della and two sons and two daughters, ranging from ages 6 to 12, double up to sleep on couches or on the floor in sleeping bags.
Della has been living on paycheck to paycheck to support her children. But, after the fire destroyed her home, her only choice was to move to Charleston, and she lost her job.
Now, as Della is struggling to start over, she is worried about giving her children a good Christmas.
The kids were upset because they lost their bikes in the fire -- their presents from last year's Christmas.
The Heart and Hand Community Service Center has worked to donate clothing for the kids, but the family needs more help -- especially with beds and bedding.
