Set Free Ministries: will have a New Year's Watch Service starting at 9 p.m. Monday. Matt Kelly will be speaking and the Kidds, and Bud and Yvonne Absten will be singing, along with the church singers. The church is located at 638 Cross Lanes Drive in Nitro, 7/10 mile from the stoplight in Cross Lanes toward Rock Branch and 5/10 mile from 40th Street toward Cross Lanes.

Randy Gifford Promotions: presents the Fifth Annual 2012 "New" New Year's Eve Gospel Sing from 7 p.m. to midnight on Monday at Riverside High School. Admission is free. Call to worship is 6:30 p.m. Featured singers will be The Harbor Master's Quartet, The Lancaster Family, The Brighterside Quartet, the Praisemen, Brothers in the Cross and Ron Pauley, pianist. King of Glory International Ministries,: 302 Delaware Ave., will have a New Year's Eve service at 10 p.m. Monday at the church.  Metropolitan Baptist Church,: 205 Donnally St., will have a Watch Night Service at 10 p.m. Monday. The sermon will be given by the Rev. Ron English. Breakfast will be served.

The Tignors: will sing at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Legg Fork Community Church, Sissonville. They will also sing at 8 p.m. Monday at New Year's Eve service at Shrewsbury Baptist Church in Shrewsbury.

Pocatalico Community Church: will have a New Year's Eve service beginning at 8 p.m. Monday at the church. There will be special singing and refreshments will follow.

A combined New Year's Eve Watch Night Service: will be sponsored by Pilgrim Home Baptist Church, St. Paul Baptist Church, Mount Zion Baptist Church, First Baptist Church of Vandalia and The New First Baptist Church of Kanawha City. The service will be held at New First Baptist Church in Kanawha City. A repass will be served beginning at 8:30 p.m. and the church service will begin at 9:30 p.m. The Rev. Paul Willis, interim pastor for New Baptist Church of Kanawha City will preach. Music will be provided by the Male Chorus of First Baptist Church of Vandalia. You don't have to be a church member to attend.

Fisher Memorial Church: will have its New Year's Even Service from 8 p.m. to midnight on Monday. The Rev. Delbert Hawley will speak around 9:30 p.m. The Choraliers, Young Adult Singers, Freeman Newhouse, Lathey Family, The New Life Singers, Saving Grace, Fisher Memorial Church Quartet and Choir will sing. A fellowship and refreshments hour will take place from 10 to 11 p.m. Participants will return to the Sanctuary at 11 p.m. for the remainder of the service, midnight fellowship and family prayer at the alter, along with the tolling of church bells. Attend part or all of the service if you wish. The church is located 1/2 mile on Dudden Fork Road off Goldtown Exit of Interstate 77, 18 miles north of Charleston.

Glasgow Church of the Nazarene: will have a New Year's Eve Gospel Sing at 7 p.m. on Monday at the church. The Laborers Quartet will be singing and the church will have snacks and refreshments following the service. The gospel sing is free, however, a love offering will be taken. Revivals:

King of Glory International Ministries,: will have a Prayer Revival Friday through Jan. 6 at various locations. The schedule is: 7 p.m., Friday, with first lady Sharon Shaw at Real Life Christian Center in Huntington; 7 p.m., Jan. 5, with Evangelist Carlotta Lynch, Morgantown Faith Center, Morgantown; and 5 p.m. Jan. 5 with the Rev. Special services:

The Charleston Black Ministerial Alliance: will celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday on Jan. 13. Speaker will be the Rev. Dr. Dwight O. Steele Sr. of Pilgrim Baptist Church, Roanoke, Va. Host church is Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1530 Third Ave. The Rev. Dr. Braxton Broady, pastor. The public is encouraged to attend.
